General Description

Established by the Barger and Harrill families in memory of their daughters, to raise awareness of and funds for childhood cancers

Grant Amounts and Terms

Grants were last awarded in April 2020 for one-year terms and generally ranged from $2,500 – $25,000.

Who May Apply

General Eligibility and Funding Criteria

Additional eligibility criteria specific to the Butterfly Fund:

  • Projects must support pediatric oncology research, treatments and/or services. Examples may include, but are not limited to, research and clinical trials, treatment supplies and equipment, palliative care programs, family assistance programs for patients and/or families caring for pediatric oncology patients, and training and outreach programs for patients and/or medical support staff.
  • Organizations located outside ETF’s 25-county service area are also eligible to apply.
