Grant Amounts and Terms

Grants were awarded in March 2022 for two-year terms and ranged from $10,000 – $20,000.

Who May Apply

General Eligibility and Funding Criteria

Additional eligibility criteria specific to the Dr. J.G. Hawkins Memorial Fund:

  • Projects must exclusively benefit Greene County residents
  • Organizations must propose a project that will support and provide medically-related transportation to underprivileged rural residents of Greene County or
  • Organizations must propose a project that will bring traveling clinical/medical services to under-served rural areas of Greene County on a temporary or intermittent basis
  • Organizations are not required to reside in Greene County in order to be eligible to apply
