Grant Amounts and Terms

Grants were awarded in September 2022 for two-year terms and ranged from $2,500 – $5,000.

Who May Apply

General Eligibility and Funding Criteria

Additional eligibility criteria specific to the Galbraith Memorial Fund:

  • Applicant organizations must be located within the Foundation’s 25-county service area
  • Organizations must request funding primarily for a spay/neuter program for low-income owners of cats and dogs or free roaming cats OR as seed money to start a program where none exists OR an innovative program designed to increase spay/neuter services to low-income pet owners
  • Funding preference will be given to programs that get the most out of grant funds – “stretch the dollar”
