Coach Gary A. Walker “Making a Difference” Wrestling Scholarship Fund

Purpose and History

Created to benefit graduating high school seniors who are members of their high school’s wrestling team(s), with first preference given to Carter High School seniors and second preference to Halls High School seniors.

Eligibility

  • Residency Requirement: East Tennessee Foundation’s 25 county region
  • Education Requirement: Graduating high school seniors (preference given to Carter High School and Halls High School)
  • College/Enrollment Requirement: Full-time or part-time enrollment at an accredited not-for-profit public or private two-year or four-year college, university, or career and technical post-secondary program.
  • Financial Need: Not required
  • Additional Requirements: Member, high school wrestling team.
