E.E. Perry Scholarship Fund

Purpose and History

Established in 2014 to provide scholarship assistance to exceptional students from Carter County who intend to pursue science, math (not accounting or business-related), engineering, or pre-med fields of study.

Scholarship Amount

$10,000 per year for four years

Eligibility

  • Residency Requirement: Carter County
  • Education Requirement: Graduating high school seniors from a Carter County public high school, Elizabethton High School, homeschooled, and/or GED recipients
  • Field of Study: Science, math (not accounting or business-related), engineering, or pre-med fields of study
  • GPA Minimum: 3.0. Please note: 3.0 is the minimum GPA required, but 3.5 is preferred.
  • College/Enrollment Requirement: Full-time enrollment at accredited not-for-profit, public, or private college/university in Tennessee
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Additional Requirement: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence
