Ed Frazier Memorial Scholarship

Purpose and History

Established in 2018 in memory of Etowah native and graduate of Central High School of McMinn County, Ed Frazier, to benefit students attending Central High School of McMinn County.

Scholarship Amount

$1,500 per year award for four years

Eligibility

  • Residency Requirement: McMinn County
  • Education Requirement: Graduating seniors of Central High School of McMinn County
  • Field of Study: Not Applicable
  • GPA Minimum: 3.0
  • College/Enrollment Requirement: Full-time enrollment at an accredited not-for-profit, four-year public or private college/university
  • Demonstrated financial need is not required, but may be considered in the selection process
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Strong character
    • Work ethic
    • Community service
