Elizabeth Hope Marlette Memorial Scholarship Fund

Purpose and History

Established in 2020 for the benefit of students who require financial assistance to pursue a post-secondary education in a medical-related field.

Scholarship Amount

$1,200 one-time award for one year

Eligibility

  • Residency Requirement: Blount, Loudon, or Monroe counties, TN; Boyd County, KY; or the city of Ironton in Lawrence County, OH
  • Education Requirement: Graduating high school senior or current college student who graduated from a high school located in Blount, Loudon, or Monroe County, TN; Boyd County High School in Boyd County, KY; or Ironton High School in Lawrence County, OH
  • Field of Study: Medical-related course of study
  • College/Enrollment Requirement: Full-time enrollment at an accredited not-for-profit public or private college/university, with preference given to public institutions or a career and technical post-secondary program
  • Must demonstrate financial need
