Stepping-Stone Scholarship Fund

Purpose and History

Established in 2008 to assist promising young people from Knox and Laurel counties (including Barbourville) in Kentucky to pursue higher education.

Scholarship Amount

$3,500 per year for four years

Eligibility

  • Residency Requirement: Knox or Laurel County, (including Barbourville) KY
  • Education Requirement: Graduating seniors, adult students, and GED recipients
  • Field of Study: Not Applicable
  • GPA Minimum: Not Applicable
  • College/Enrollment Requirement: Full-time enrollment at an accredited, public or private, not-for-profit college or university
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Additional Requirement: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence
